Cloud Engineer

London - Remote/Hybrid

As a Cloud Engineer at Releaseworks, you will work in a team of professional, kind, and highly respected DevOps and cloud experts. Your line manager will be a senior engineer, who helps you learn and grow, and understands the technical challenges in your daily work.

For this role, you should be UK-based and able to commute to Central London when it makes sense - for example to join workshops with client engineers.

Our engagements vary in size and scope, which means you should enjoy changing environments and be comfortable wearing different hats. We take great pride in solving the most challenging technical problems for our customers. In multi-vendor environments, we are the trusted advisor for our clients and sit on their side of the table: the buck stops with us.

What you need to succeed in this role

  • Experience in Terraform, CloudFormation or other Infrastructure as Code tooling

  • Experience in AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience in one or more programming languages

  • Understanding of DevOps concepts and practices

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to choose when to apply it

  • Great written and verbal communication and problem solving skills
